Job Description:

Summary:

The Auxiliary Facility Maintenance Electrical Instructor will be required to train employees in all aspects of electrical work including troubleshooting electrical problems and electrical installations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Teach electrical and electronic system technologies

  • Encourage growth and performance skills with the students

  • Create an engaging and focused learning environment

  • Demonstrate expertise in electrical and electronic systems

  • Prepare students for certification exams

  • Help with curriculum building and updating

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

  • 5 or more years of field experience

  • Electrical certifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required

  • Must be familiar with all NJDCA codes and standards

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • NJ electrical license desired
