Senior Data Scientist, IBM Corporation, New York, NY (Up to 80% telecommuting permitted): Perform independent statistical and machine learning modeling from structured business problem solving to data table navigation. Query to complete necessary development work for model production and drive the machine model production effort by working with development teams. Leverage business acumen and knowledge to understand and transform business data and solve business problems. Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and lead the workstream and certain organization-level extra curriculum activities. Direct technical members. Mentor junior data scientists, ensure proper execution of their duties, and alignment of activities with business’s overall vision and objectives. Build and maintain machine learning pipelines and platforms that supports the company's goals. Help project managers to set project vision and timeline, scope and ensure adequate resources, support team to mitigate and address issues or risks. Utilize: Python, Structured Query Language (SQL), TensorFlow, Cloud Computing & Docker, Machine Learning/Deep Learning algorithms, Probability & Statistics. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Data Scientist or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Python, Structured Query Language (SQL), TensorFlow, Cloud Computing & Docker, Machine Learning/Deep Learning algorithms, Probability & Statistics. $163,238.00 - $233,310.00 per year.
