Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks Product Designer in New York, NY.Job Duties: Work in design vision for new features, while owning and driving the craftsmanship for every interaction and visual design detail. Duties include: connect user research and data insights to design decisions at every stage of development; deliver consistent, polished, and balanced layouts through typography, color, and visual hierarchy; use prototypes as a foundational piece of the design process both to identify appropriate solutions and influence stakeholders; effectively communicate visual designs through wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, etc. for final hand-off to engineering; present and justify design rationale and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders; establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards; and apply user-centered experience design practice and participate in regular user research.Minimum Requirements: Master’s (or foreign equivalent) degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering, User Experience Design, Visual Communication or a related field and the completion of a university level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one year of experience involving the following Special Skills:Special Skills:1. digital product design for web or mobile software;2. visual design, interaction design, and prototyping;3.
