Construction Laborers - 10 fulltime, temporary, One-time occurrence (H-2B) jobs available 08/01/2024-08/01/26

Employer: Tristate Mason LLC, 104 Krishon Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.

Job Duties: 1-Reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications. Assisting with the setup and preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and erecting temporary structures. Operating and maintaining construction tools and equipment, such as power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery. Performing manual labor tasks, such as digging trenches, mixing and pouring concrete, and carrying materials Digging and paving. Assisting with the installation, assembly, and placement of building components, including walls, floors, roofs, and fixtures. Following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times. Collaborating with other construction workers and tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Cleaning and maintaining construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Adhering to project timelines and completing tasks within specified deadlines. Reporting any issues, concerns, or incidents to supervisors or project managers.

Employer to provided transportation to various worksites within Five Boroughs of New York City.

Work days: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, 40 hours/week at $30.93/hour. NO OT.

No education required, 1year experience required.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
