We are currently seeking a COO focusing on Client Strategy and Relationship Management. This role is designed for a visionary leader, ready to drive strategic initiatives that will set new standards in client engagement and operational efficiency, create a comprehensive client strategy, and increase Mizuhos Market Share and Revenue with our top Institutional clients. This role requires a strong, collaborative approach with all Front-office functions, as well Operations, Client Services, Marketing & Events teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to strengthen client relationships and grow the client base in the fixed income space.

  • Work with Sales & Trading teams to identify priority clients across Macro, Securitized Products and Credit businesses and to ensure that client needs are met with the highest standards of service and professionalism.

  • Utilize advanced analytics and work with Client Captains to identify additional revenue opportunities, client objectives and to develop personalized client engagement models.

  • Create and manage tracking mechanisms to monitor progress of the execution of sales strategy and performance of this initiative.

  • Create marketing materials and special events that highlight Fixed Income & CIB capabilities to current and prospective clients.

  • Contribute to client engagements and pitch meetings as a champion of cross selling between the different fixed income teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.

  • At least 7 years of experience within fixed income sales and trading businesses, with a proven track record in developing and executing strategic initiatives or change management plans.

  • Strong understanding of the fixed income market, product innovation, and regulatory standards.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide stakeholders from different teams towards achieving strategic objectives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

  • Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • High degree of professionalism and integrity with a commitment to excellence.

The expected base salary ranges from $200, 000- $300, 000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
