Job Description:

This job is responsible for summarizing and organizing GM Communications Review Group (“CRG”) activity and findings into digestible reports for senior management. Other responsibilities will include learning the technological landscape for voice surveillance and building out the voice communications surveillance program for Global Markets.

The candidate will join the GM CRG team, supporting a variety of operational aspects of the Business Controls infrastructure. Candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment with the following responsibilities:

  • Ensures accuracy of data and that supporting information is provided for reporting to relevant stakeholders.

  • Able to turn qualitative data into meaningful reports that convey impact of the program.

  • Development of Voice Communications Surveillance program

  • Explore potential to leverage AI for evolvement of the communications surveillance program.

Requirements :

  • Expert in data analytics, manipulation, aggregation, integration, and reporting

  • Must be detail oriented (e.g. track multiple action items in detail and work across multiple projects)

  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills. Must be able to understand a process from end-to-end, be able to identify weaknesses in the process and identify/implement solutions, be able to challenge others on the facts of the process.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to simplify complex information into messages targeted to various levels of leadership as well accurately interpret communications from Business Controls Officers, Supervisors, GCOR, Audit, etc.

  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, and deliver quality analysis and highly actionable management information.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple competing/concurrent activities.

  • Excellent project/program management skills

  • Ability to assess and determine when to raise concerns and escalate.

  • Takes initiative and demonstrates focused desire to drive improvements versus relying on “status quo”

  • Must be able to deliver accurate results with limited direction and supervision.

  • Must be self-motivated and results oriented with strong desire to succeed.

  • Must be able to work with technical teams and translate technical concepts to business audiences.

  • Must be able to work well in collaborative team environment, but also independently.

Desired Skills :

  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, including ability to independently build new dashboards and data reports

  • Knowledge of Global Markets risk and controls

  • Technical background, or experience interfacing with technical teams

  • Data and Trend Analysis

  • Fluency in (a) foreign language

  • Strategy Planning and Development

  • Strategic Thinking and Problem Solving
