Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our food. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and portion control guidelines - Cook food items according to established standards and recipes - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area - Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation - Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies - Adhere to all health and safety regulations Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role preferred - Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Skills: - Culinary expertise - Food preparation techniques - Meal preparation - Food service experience - Knowledge of food safety standards - Kitchen equipment operation - Dietary aide experience is a plus If you are passionate about cooking and thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment, we invite you to apply for the position of Line Cook/Prep Cook.
