Opportunity

Develops and implements a comprehensive Devsec Ops strategy aligned with organizational goals. Provides leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure the successful adoption of Devsec Ops practices. Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT and development teams.

Collaborates with security teams to integrate security measures seamlessly into the Devsec Ops pipeline. Leads efforts to automate and enhance security testing, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks throughout the development lifecycle.

Identifies and implements automation tools to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes. Evaluates and selects appropriate tools for code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and security testing.

Oversees the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery. Champions the use of automated testing and deployment to improve software quality and reduce time-to-market.

Works closely with development, operations, and security teams to foster a collaborative and communicative environment. Act as a bridge between different departments, ensuring alignment and understanding of Devsec Ops goals and practices.

Develops training programs to enhance the skills of the IT and development teams in Devsec Ops practices. Stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, providing guidance on emerging technologies and methodologies.

Skills/Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or a related field required, with a preference towards a master’s degree and/or certifications such as CDE or CISSP.

5+ years of experience in a leadership role with a focus on Devsec Ops. In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. Strong background in security, with experience integrating security into the software development lifecycle.
