Job Summary: The Production Analyst is a critical role responsible for ensuring the seamless execution and analysis of work orders within the production department. This position requires a proactive approach to finishing all work orders, troubleshooting production anomalies, and maintaining accurate documentation and cost analysis. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in optimizing production processes and ensuring the accuracy of product costing and bill of materials. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Complete and close all work orders, ensuring they meet the production schedule and quality standards. Actively troubleshoot and resolve production anomalies, working closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. Collect, organize, and verify all necessary paperwork from the production floor, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Conduct thorough reviews of work order product costing, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrections to ensure accurate cost analysis. Analyze each item\'s bill of materials for accuracy, updating and correcting as needed to ensure production efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with production, inventory control, and purchasing departments to streamline production processes and improve material utilization. Develop and maintain production performance reports, highlighting key metrics and identifying areas for improvement. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality. Assist in inventory control activities. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with production teams and management. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience: At least three years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a focus on production analysis, cost accounting, or inventory management.
