Position Summary/Description:

The UNC Department of Psychiatry is seeking an interventional psychiatrist to work on our robust and growing interventional psychiatry program that encompasses Electroconvulsive therapy ( ECT ), Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), and intranasal esketamine treatment. The position will include consultation of patients both on inpatient units and in the outpatient settings. Rotating time on ECT service and providing rTMS and intranasal treatment are part of this position. In addition, the faculty member will work with rotating residents and medical students and have the opportunity to engage in clinical trials and scholarship in interventional psychiatry.

Education and Experience:

One year of experience doing interventional work ( ECT , rTMS and intranasal ketamine).
