Town of Natick Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Natick, Massachusetts

Responsibilities include: Managing all aspects of the EH&S safety programs related to OSHA/WSHA standards. Developing and implementing written safety programs. Responding to and tracking safety issues as they arise and providing information to employees and contractors regarding safety. Conducting comprehensive safety inspections in work areas to ensure compliance with all applicable standards. Investigating work-site accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, installing preventative measures, and managing return-to-work activities. Developing and presenting various safety training courses and helping maintain a database for tracking training attendance. Providing safety orientation for new hires and seasonal employees. Qualifications for this position are: Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an EH&S Manager. Bachelor?s Degree in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Physical Science or related area required. Valid Massachusetts driver?s license is required. Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred. Capable of obtaining medical clearances for using respiratory protection necessary for HAZMAT response.
