HIRING NOW!! HVAC Sheet Metal Installers to install ductwork at commercial properties in Nashville and surrounding areas.

NOTE: Pay is based on experience. $20 - $24 / hour.  

Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC distribution lines and equipment according to design plans

  • Use hand tools and portable power tools in the installation of joints of duct such as slide and drive, TDF, snap lock, and other assemblies as required

  • Layout openings and coordinates with other trades

  • Inspects assemblies and installation for quality assurance

  • Erect and install equipment such as air handling units, VAV boxes, fan power boxes, and others as required

  • Loads and unloads construction materials from trucks and into buildings

  • Works safely, encourages others to do so, and complies with applicable health and safety-related rules, regulations, and procedures

 Qualifications:

  • Two + years sheet metal experience

  • Must possess your own hand tools (company may provide specialty tools)

  • Able to read and understand project-related documents in the English language

  • Knowledge of basic construction/shop math (addition, subtraction,division, fraction, and multiplication)

  • Ability to work independently, without direct supervision

  • Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy

  • Plan work and select proper tools Work at heights without fear

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

  • Must have reliable transportation
