About the Position: Serves as an Assistant or Associate Professor-Assessment Specialist for the Educational Technology and Development duty location at the DoD Center, 400 Gigling Road, OMC, Seaside, CA. Responsibilities Able to analyze test data, to ensure reliability and validity of tests. Interpret basic statistics such as means, standard deviation (SD), and correlations. Develop assessment guides, handbooks, and other instructional materials. Provide expert support and training to faculty in development and implementation of quality assessment products. Develop language assessment products, including assessment objectives, specifications, item development, scoring guides, etc. Evaluate assessment quality (validation, item analysis). Ability to communicate technical information to individuals of various backgrounds. Provide effective feedback to faculty. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: US Citizens and Non-US Citizens with valid US Work Authorization. This position is a TERM time limited position tenure track. The initial appointment is not to exceed (NTE) 24 months and may be extended upon mission, funding and management discretion.
