Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Engineer-Mulesoft for a contract with our client in Minnetonka, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions to advance various business domains utilizing mobile, web, cloud, and API technologies. You will leverage your development knowledge and experience to guide internal and external developers to solve complex business problems. The Sr. Engineer may work independently or with a group of developers and with other subject matter experts to help design and build solutions for web and portal application. Key Responsibilities: Define, analyze, and review business, system requirements, technical requirements and prioritize tasks Write clean, testable code using Java programming languages, Mulesoft APIs and open source technologies like Angular and React Work with Azure Dev Ops, GIT and Pipelines Document development and operational procedures including implementing monitoring solutions Leverage industry standards and best practices for software development, including automated integration, test driven development, reusable code, object-oriented design, software configuration management Facilitate code reviews, unit testing, peer reviews and partner with QA to document test criteria Required Basic Qualifications: Advanced working knowledge and skill of professional field with ability to function as a subject matter expert for other staff across multiple technologies Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 5 years of work experience beyond degree. 5 years work experience as a Java developer or .NET Developer At least 2 of Java experience, but 5+ years total between Java and .NET API development experience using Mulesoft Familiarity with Agile environments Troubleshooting abilities and Good communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in one of the Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) with end to end application building, source controlling and deployment In-depth knowledge writing complex SQL queries for Oracle or SQL Server Work experience with content management and search solutions such as Sitecore, Coveo, Solr, Google Work experience on open source technologies like Angular, React, NodeJS Proficiency in building web-based and/or mobile applications Soft Skills: Good collaboration skills.
