Status: Full Time Responsibilities The MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN would be a member of our operations team, whose primary goal would be to help the operations department satisfy customer requirements of quality, quantity, and delivery, in a safe manner while maximizing productivity. This position requires an on-going examination of designated areas for continuous improvement. This technician supports the activities of general maintenance, and participates in troubleshooting and maintaining production and plant assets. The maintenance technician would be required to physically perform all the job tasks required for all aspects of building and equipment, maintenance, repair or improvements. They would work with other maintenance staff to ensure that maintenance tasks are performed in a safe and timely manner. Qualifications *High school diploma or GED. A college or technical degree in industrial maintenance is preferred. *Any machine, safety, or other related manufacturing certifications is a plus. *Manufacturing experience, and proven training or experience operating specific equipment and motor vehicles. *Strong knowledge and ability to use hand tools and welding tools, as well as troubleshoot electrical systems. *Knowledge of operations efficiency and division equipment, as well as the use of basic math skills and use of precision instruments. *Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and proven ability to work in teams and independently. *Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. *Must possess a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
