Working closely with key EJW collaborators, and play a principal role in shaping the contents. The booklet documents the local people's campaigns against the trash incinerator in Minneapolis called the Hennepin Resource Recovery Center (HERC). Their visions and day-to-day organizing work at the grassroots generate concrete blueprints to help usher in a zero waste economy. EJW is a node that brings together diverse constituents of Environment Justice activists, community members, and scholars. The details of work include: Attending the biweekly meeting with the core group; Meeting with a Graduate RA biweekly; Engaging in collective agenda-setting; Dedicating to the task of collaborative writing and editing to shape the booklet. Qualifications Required Qualifications: -Familiar with the Humanities Without Walls-funding project with the UMN -Recruit from the MS Science, Technology and Environmental Policy degree alumni and students -BA/BS, or Master's Degree and understanding of project implementations, project structure, project life-cycle, and best practice standards. -Ability to work independently, as a part of a team, and with changing priorities -Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, including the ability to communicate with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning various organizational levels. -Commitment to positive team dynamics, and creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment. -Ability to support projects and programs in a fast-paced environment within scope, timeline, and budget. -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. -Strong skills in creativity, problem solving, and adaptability to changing priorities. -Project management experience, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills. -Commitment to fostering and advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and justice.
