Adecco US, Inc. Die Cast Techinician 1st Shift Req 1279 in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Adecco is now hiring for a Die Cast Technician that operates die casting machines to produce parts from nonferrous metals, like aluminum. The pay starts out at $20.00 an hour. The shifts are Monday through Thursday from 5:00am-3:00pm.
Essential Functions:
Adjusts valves to control the flow of water through dies.
Clears metal fragments from die surfaces using an air hose, and applies lubricant to die cavity and plunger.
Activates the plunger to close dies and inject molten metal into die cavities.
Removes castings from conveyor and places them into trim press, operating the trim press machine.
Inspects castings for defects, such as cracks or blisters, and may measure them using fixed gauges.
Operates deburring and related machines for drilling, deburring, grinding, blending, buffing, tumbling, or chamfering operations.
Regulates machine speed if required.
Performs maintenance and cleaning of machines.
Cleans furnaces and equipment if necessary.
Operates gas or electric powered forklift truck to handle metal within the facility.
Counts, weighs, and records the number of units of metal moved or handled.

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
1 month of related experience.
Preferred:
6 months of related experience.
NADCA Level I Certification.

Identify and distinguish colors.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
