Harris Sheet Metal Sheet Metal Fabricator and Installer in Midland, Michigan

We are an established company with openings in entry level positions for the fabrication and installation of ductwork, equipment, and specialty sheet metal products.

Selected candidates will receive on-the-job training for the above mentioned duties. Applicants will be required to pass a background check, as well as complete an OSHA 10 hr. construction safety course (course fees to be paid by HSM). Candidates must have a valid drivers license, and complete new hire orientation prior to hire. New hires will aslo be required to provide their own steel toed safety shoes and basic tools. Must be able to read a tape measure and work from heights comfortably. Prior construction and/or welding experience is preferred, but not required.

Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with employees reporting to our facility or job site. Occaisional overnights may be required to complete specific contracts.

Wages start at $17 - $18 an hour, depending on skills and experience. We offer medical benefits, as well as merit shop increases.
