As the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Implementing and managing the new payroll system, UKG

• Processing payroll for over 1,000+ employees across multiple states

• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth transition during the HR change

• Handling payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues efficiently

• Assisting in the upgrade to the Dimensions platform of UKG

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records

• Work closely with the Payroll Manager and other payroll specialists

• Assist in the onboarding process of newly acquired companies

• Generate payroll reports as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist

• At least 2 years' experience working with UKG

• Demonstrated ability to handle payroll for over 500 employees

• Experience in managing multi-state payroll including understanding of tax and labor laws across various states

• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail

• Strong knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field

• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving
