Utilize your analytical thinking skills, leadership ability and business knowledge to help coordinate and lead a department of associates.

Humana is seeking a Manager who will analyze, create, improve and implement new processes and practices across various functional areas of Humana, evaluating the effects of your process changes by quantitatively and qualitatively measuring them against internal benchmarks. Responsibilities include:

  • Help with strategic planning, budgeting, business improvement and development of staff, and you will provide coaching and feedback to enhance the contribution, competencies and performance of associates.

  • Act as a liaison between operational and functional areas, sales, group executives, and the internal support team to identify and address barriers cross-functionally

  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance the contributions, competencies, and performance of associates

  • Lead implementation of projects and processes to help solve complex organizational problems

  • Provide guidance to a team of 3-5 Frontline Supervisors who manage the day-to-day operational activities for their teams

    Role Essentials

  • Progressive operational experience in a formal or informal leadership role

  • At least 3 years leadership experience

  • A positive, flexible, collaborative approach that builds networks, relationships, engagement, and capability

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to coordinate activities within a rapidly changing environment without losing focus on service and profitability

  • Demonstrated high level of innovation, integrity and professionalism

    Role Desirables

  • Bachelor Degree or higher

  • Comprehensive analytical skills, with an emphasis in Microsoft Office applications

  • Advanced knowledge of call center operations and metrics

  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Dual Eligibles

  • Demonstrated ability to enhance relationships with vendors and other business partners

    Reporting Relationships

    You will have 1-5 direct reports, and you will report to a Director.
