Emerson Accounting Leader in MEXICALI, Mexico

In this role your responsibilities will be:

  1. Team up with Plant Director, Finance Director (Headquarters) and the Leadership Team of the global product company to control financial area and provide financial analysis to meet financial and business objectives.

  2. Coordinate along with the accounting team the financial closing process to elaborate precise financial statements, analyzing the results and report requirements of the functional area.

  3. Manage Journal Entries, Imports/Sub-ledgers and Reconciliations of accounts unique to site/system

  4. Perform Accrual prep, analysis, review and JE unique to site

  5. Maintain/Own Accurate Site Financial Statements

  6. Manage Site Controls/Compliance (CP&P knowledge & compliance, ICQ maintenance and manage site internal controls, Trade Compliance)

  7. Provide financial leadership, development, and support to other departments on site, as well as lead, supervise, and train accounting staff (one Cost Accountant)

  8. Responsible for financial Planning & Analysis (POR management & Forecasting/Financial analysis & exhibit completion)

  9. Partner with GM and provide site guidance

Preferred Qualifications that set you apart:

  • B.S.in Accounting

  • Knowledge in Cost accounting, records, and accounting procedures

  • At least 4 years in related positions in a manufacturing environment managing people and at least 1 year in a leadership position

  • Advanced English level (B2 or C1 level)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point)

  • An overall effective ability in communication, including when in front of group presentations and trainings.

  • Oracle system use desirable.

  • Ability to prepare reports precisely
