Description

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) is seeking a full-time non-exempt Administrative Assistant for the department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position provides clerical and general office support that contributes to the accomplishment of the goals of the program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain correspondence and scan/email information to faculty, staff, students, and other persons as designated by the sender.

  • Address and email any correspondence needed for Faculty, Staff, and or Students.

  • Prepare, maintain, and retrieve student files following FERPA rules.

  • Provide administrative support in areas of purchasing and storage upkeep.

  • Assist with meeting setup, room scheduling, sending Zoom invitations to appropriate faculty and staff, and recording meeting minutes/notes.

  • Interact with faculty, students, staff, alumni, and professionals in the academic community and general public.

  • Assist with planning and implementing program professional events, ordering meals, room scheduling, and preparing paperwork.

  • Interpreting and communicating operating policies.

  • Submitting and managing travel reimbursements for staff and faculty.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience; experience in a higher education or office environment preferred.

  • Comfort with technology, computer processing, typing, Excel, and purchasing software.

  • Friendly and helpful disposition.
