This job was posted by https://idahoworks.gov : For more information, please see: https://idahoworks.gov/jobs/2199065 Our Healthcare Operations (HCO) Product Owner works with the HCO leadership and business unit to coordinate and prioritize strategic projects and operational imperatives with a multi-functional technology delivery team. Supporting multiple aspects of our operational tools, platforms, data, and services, the Product Owner will increase the effectiveness and functionality of existing products and develop new products for the organization.

Product Owners develop and lead a product vision across a suite of products and manage the product backlog for software delivery teams. Collaboration to define and communicate the product roadmap and lead sprint planning meetings and explain feature/story priorities and requirements to the Agile team. In addition, you will define sprint/iteration objectives; maintain planning around multiple horizon planning timelines (iteration/quarterly/annually); prepare the product backlog for the upcoming iterations/sprints; work with HCO business partners and EPMO to prioritize the product backlog to maximize return on investment; write well-defined user stories, user cases and acceptance criteria; drive preparation for Big Room quarterly planning; and prepare for spring review and demo.

This position has preferred flexibility to work hybrid location (onsite Meridian Idaho campus and work-from-home). #LI-Hybrid

Education must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in relevant subject area or equivalent work experience (Two years\' relevant work experience is equivalent to one- year college)
  • International Degree equivalency
  • Applicable certification(s) as defined by the leader + 2 years additional experience
  • Associate\'s Degree + 2 years additional experience

Required Experience: 2-5/+ years in preferably in product owner and/or product management role. Business analyst, system analyst, project manager, agile, or relevant experience will also be considered. Ideally experience includes:

  • Certification in Agile / Scrum Frameworks, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • Proven experience working in Agile / Scrum or Scaled Agile frameworks as a product owner / technical product manager
  • Familiarity with ZeOmega Jiva, particularly with platform upgrades or installation (or similar competing platforms)
  • A passion for building great products and solutions, pairing strategy to execution, working seamlessly across functional business areas and IT
  • Familiarity with Heath Insurer Clinical Operations and Quality Management including:
  • Clinical review
  • Government programs
  • Health Management (UM/CM/DM)
  • Wellness programs
  • Behavioral health
  • Healthcare Quality and Analytics Management
