Overview

St. Luke’s Health System in Meridian, ID is seeking a Director Clin Value Analysis to join our Supply Chain team.

Unit/Position Summary

The Director, Clinical Value Analysis is responsible for contributing to the development, and implementation of a clinical strategic supply management program. This position is responsible for translating strategy into deliverable solutions that are achievable for supply expense management.

  • Provides leadership in the area of supply management to contribute to the system's overall strategic plan especially as it relates to Clinical Value Analysis.

  • Organizes, directs and implements the system in clinical value analysis support primarily for clinical products and provide clinical expertise consultation on technology and capital equipment. Educates and orients team regarding processes and their role.

  • Assimilates information from variety of sources, able to analyze data and make strategic recommendations and executes a course of action.

  • Develops, implements, and coordinates within the hospital or system: Policies and procedures related to supply cost management and supply chain operations; Clinical Resource Management Program; Product standardization and utilization.

  • Ensures that issues are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Assess product function and cost across the system utilizing quality, cost and patient outcome data to identify opportunities. Research, quantify, analyze and oversee the validation process of product viability and then present data to the appropriate leaders and teams. Make recommendations in determining whether item(s) should be standardized and/or used based on current research and evidence-based practices.

  • Provides advice and consultation to senior and executive management related to strategic decisions. Maintain knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulatory provisions.

  • Provides supply chain advice, direction and leadership in decision-making process for clinically sensitive items. Develop, implement and measure the clinical evaluation of potential products.

  • In collaboration with Senior Leadership, designs, develops and implements focused strategies around standardization, utilization and waste reduction. Actively participates in the budget and goal setting process.

  • Interacts with executives, major customers (physicians, clinicians, operations) and service/site administration to provide consultation, influence decisions and identify and resolve critical issues.

  • Manage activities that contribute to year over year, non-labor, expense reduction.

  • Develop positive professional working relationship with all external stakeholders and customers.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors of Nursing degree

  • Experience: 10 years relevant experience

  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure in State of Practice
