JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Faith Technologies, a division of Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), is an energy expert and national leader in electrical planning, engineering, design and installation. This position is responsible for generating various types of drawings that are supplied to designers, engineers, project/product managers, field personnel and customers. Technical disciplines that are supported include electrical, mechanical, structural, civil and automation. This role may also provide supervision for CAD Technician I/II team members. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: A high school diploma or GED with CAD course work Experience: Six to eight years experience or Education: An Associate\'s Degree in Computer Drafting Technology and/or Architectural Drafting Travel: 0-5% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday; Overtime may be required. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Demonstrates familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit customization. * Demonstrates ability to read and interpret drawings. * Provides drawing documentation support to internal and external customers; provides excellent customer service. * Displays an understanding of one-line diagrams. * Produces lighting, power, instrumentation, and network services drawings and revises existing drawings as needed efficiently and accurately. * Demonstrates a working knowledge of X-references, Paper/Model Space, Plotting, Revit views, sheet and links. * Demonstrates advanced design capabilities in data/communications, lighting, power distribution, one line diagrams, and estimating. * Assists with coordination of modeling and drafting work amongst various branches and regions. * Demonstrates a knowledge of the Faith Technologies file structure. * Supports mechanical, structural, civil and automation project work with relevant CAD software packages as capabilities allow. * Demonstrates the ability to market CAD advantages to internal customers through cost saving ideas. * Evaluates and assists in the implementation of new CAD software. * Demonstrates ability to effectively manage resources. * Assists functional leads in selling modeling and drafting software services to customers. * Formulates and maintains standards as well as implements new methods of drafting. * Assists in the technical training of new technicians. * Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
