WESCO Warehouse Supervisor in Melbourne, Australia
Wesco Anixter have an outstanding career opportunity for a highly motivated and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor supporting our security branches. This role is based from our national distribution centre in Tullamarine.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role will;
Supervise and lead warehouse staff to ensure efficient receiving, storage and dispatch of product equipment
Oversee and assist in all dispatching and invoicing processes
Managing goods - incoming and outgoing
Conduct stock takes
Liaise with customers regarding stock level
Training warehouse staff
Handling any logistics requirements on a daily basis, including liaising with transport providers
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following and consistent enforcement of company policies and WHS requirements
Manage the day-to-day operations of our Tullamarine warehouse facility
Supervise and lead warehouse staff to ensure efficient receiving, storage and dispatch of product equipment
What You'll Bring
The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising warehouse processes, managing inventory levels, maintaining a safe working environment and establishing a skilled and productive team.
Knowledge of Warehousing systems and procedures
Experience in operating Warehouse equipment
Practical experience and understanding of WHS policies and procedures
Established skill-set regarding stock control and periodic stock take
Capable of handling multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency
Strong MS Office skills
Forklift License
Excellent computer skills and WMS experience
Strong communicator, self-directed and motivated
