The RoleAspenTech is seeking a Solution Enablement Director within the organization based out of our Houston office. Major responsibility is to work together with our senior directors and consultants providing plans and approving combined solutions with AspenTech's portfolio of Supply Chain solutions in the Petroleum and Chemical industries focusing on refinery and chemicals planning, scheduling and blending. This is a unique position for an exceptional engineer to develop into a supply chain professional and support the organization internally and at the same time work closely with our customers and partners using our suite of modelling and optimization technologies: Your Impact Primarily working with our Aspen Supply Chain solutions in Petroleum and Chemical Space Solution credibility to gather data/document and summarize client requirements and address the business process issues that AspenTech solutions will address. Assist the sales organization and services management team in preparing and delivering complex bids and proposals to major corporate clients. Promote and develop credible and trustworthy ecosystem as an extended arm of AspenTech Professional Services Support design and configure model-based systems and data integration with external systems and databases. Provide governance on projects executed by professional services as well as our partners to ensure projects achieve stated milestones, delivery dates and financial goals. Maintain and extend client satisfaction levels and develop opportunities for additional solutions. Closely work with AspenTech Product Management on product roadmap Work cooperatively with the AspenTech extended team in Sales, Support and Partners to ensure successful project delivery and completion. Accountable for achieving personal targets such as productivity, bookings, and other Management objective related targets. What You'll Need Minimum bachelor's degree in chemical/petroleum engineering and at least 10 years of experience preferred within the supply chain functions of a refinery / petrochemical company / chemical company or in a consulting company. Minimum of 5 years' preferred of hands on experience in AspenTech Refinery or Chemicals Supply Chain solutions such as Aspen PIMS, Aspen Petroleum Scheduler (formerly known as Orion), Aspen Plant Scheduler or similar solutions offered by other software solution providers. Deep Domain expertise in Petroleum, Petrochemicals and other Chemicals Industries required. Strong business acumen. Adept at performing customer interviews, identifying improvement opportunities, and overcoming resistance to change. Ability to assess and articulate customer value creation. A team player with the ability to relate to customers and maintain good working relationship. Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and manage multiple priorities under pressure. Fast learner with a desire/motivation to learn cutting-edge new technologies.
