Job Summary and Qualifications

*10 hour shifts plus call. Call is 1 day a week and 1 weekend a month*

The CST collaborates with the physician and Registered Nurses to serve in a support role within the Operating Room. The CST is responsible for supplies, instrumentation and equipment needed for surgical cases for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Proficient in surgical environment as surgical assistant passing instruments and assisting the physician during surgical cases.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or a hospital or military training program

  • Certified CST by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Assisting (NBSTSA) or the Liaison Council Certification of the Association of Surgical Technologist required within 90 days of hire

  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider

  • No Travel Required
