Direct Support Professional -- Crawford, Delaware, Franklin, and Marion Counties

 


Bridges to Independence strongly believes that every person deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential. At the present time, we are looking for an experienced individual to fill the role of Direct Support Professional in Crawford, Delaware, Franklin, and Marion Counties. The right candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to persons with developmental disabilities. If you have prior experience working with the developmentally disabled in a direct care role, we encourage you to apply for this position. Experience with Anywhere EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) website a plus. Responsibilities and duties:

  • Provide supervision and guidance while building skills
  • Implement individual support plans
  • Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene, and recreation
  • Develop a rapport and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship
  • Update service delivery and progress notes on a daily basis

Qualifications and skills: High School Diploma/GED

  • Valid Ohio driver license
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate about the care and well-being of others
