Volt Supply Chain Planner in Maplewood, Minnesota

Volt is immediately hiring for Supply Chain Planner in Maplewood, MN. As Supply Chain Planner you will:

  • Planning and executing supply chain functions for Purchased Finished Goods and Subcontracting.
  • The planner will monitor the systems by use of an alert monitor and provide orders to manufacturing plants to production plan a finished good.
  • Utilizing the tools in SAP (ERP system) and legacy system tools, this planner will follow all Global Financial Standards and system credibility to up hold transactional data accuracy.
  • Day to day activities will include data input into various planning systems including, but not limited to, Inventory Accounting, Purchase Order submission, ship notification completion, scheduling transportation and monitoring the receipt into the distribution center.
  • The planner will maintain the safety stock levels at the distribution center according to parameter management.
  • All disconnects will be escalated for additional support and / or mitigation strategies needed for proper execution.
  • Data integrity and data entry are the most critical elements of the position all the while maintaining communication of status updates of product movement.

This is a full time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher with 1 year of Supply Planning, Sourcing, Transportation, Buyer, or Intercompany, Customer Service
  • OR High School Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of work experience in Supply Chain Planning
  • Excellent communication written and verbal communication
  • Strong system application proficiencies including Office 365, especially Excel, SAP ERP
  • Meticulous data accuracy to comply with SOX compliance and Global Financial Standards
  • Must be able to train onsite in Maplewood, MN. Can work remotely after training.
