Here, you will make an impact by:Researching and selecting the most appropriate and efficient product packaging solutions for new product launchesModifying and improving existing packaging designs, processes and/or methods for improved customer satisfaction, quality improvement, sustainability and/or operational improvementsFollowing prescribed federal and international regulatory requirements related to sterile barrier packagingProvide corporate packaging solutions representation on task forces and long-term development teams for next generation products and packagesEvaluate suppliers of packaging materials and/or contract packagers to train, guide, and improve the manufacturability of package designs in accordance with specifications and processes.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND four (4) years of packaging structure, design, development, or industry experience.ORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND eight (8) years of packaging structure, design, development, or industry experience.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Working knowledge of ISO 11607, ISO 13485, and cGMPUnderstanding of package validation and distribution testing proceduresKnowledge of and ability to conduct transport validation testing in accordance with ASTM and/or ISTA standardsWork location: HybridTravel: May include up to 10% international travelRelocation Assistance: not authorized.Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
