About the role

Processes customer orders by filling: drums, pails, jugs, totes and tankers to proper filling marks. (NOTE: drums, pails, jugs, totes are filled by volume, tankers are filled by weight) Packages, shrink-wraps and bands product on skids, attaches labels and shipping paperwork to the packaged product and loads trucks for shipping.

Key responsibilities

Fills customer orders as directed by production lead

Make sure all orders are filled and the correct packaging and labeling are used

Maintain proper fill weights and/or volumes at all times

Monitors HACCP CCPs (filter checks) and completes documentation completely and accurately.

Performs computer tasks by entering production and usage into our SAP system.

Recommends packaging equipment upgrades, modifications, and/or replacements

Performs weekly warehouse product, materials and tank farm physical inventories and assists with inventory reconciliation

Qualifications and skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.

PFT & respirator fit test required

Working at heights / climbing ladders
