Department: Food and Beverage

Reports To: Managers/Stand Lead

FLSA Status: Non-Exemp

Summary:

Prepares food for guests as assigned by management and Stand Lead, while following guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Operates all Kitchen/Stand equipment safely and correctly.

  • Evaluates food before serving to ensure that standards are met.

  • Consults with Stand Lead and/or Manager on any concerns.

  • Cleans and sanitizes all food service equipment and work area.

  • Follows all food handling guidelines, including time and temperature requirements.

  • Takes direction from Stand Lead on product quantity.

  • Assists Stand Attendants in expediting orders to ensure streamlined service.

  • Monitors freezer stock and notifies Stand Lead of product needs.

  • Ensures left over food is taken care of and that all other food items are stored properly.

  • Assist in cleaning stand after every shift.

  • Primary assignments include but are not limited to, preparing food using the stands grill and fryer.

  • Follows direction of Stand Lead and Management at all times.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience

  • 1 to 2 years satisfactory cooking experience preferred.

  • Some culinary training or directly related experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Good oral communication skills and the ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

  • Ability to work alongside team members and follow instructions.

  • Excellent hospitality and customer service skills, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.

  • Is customer oriented, a team player, and works efficiently and commits to quality.

  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • ServSafe certification preferred.

Hours of Work

  • Flexible part-time schedule including some long shifts, nights, weekends and holidays on an on-call basis.
