Position Summary

The perfect candidate is a highly motivated with knowledges in mechanical design.

Main Responsibilities

  • During quotation phase, as a drafter, support mechanical technical lead and engineers for feasibility studies and various investigations

  • Support Engineers to perform technical aircraft survey (scoping, pictures, dimensions, 3D scan…)

  • Realize engineering 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, assembly, and installation drawings and bill of material as per:

  • Engineering mechanical design rules, best practices, and processes

  • M&P requirements

  • Ensure that the design is compliant with inputs from system provider, electrical, stress, production engineering, certification, and all others key players

  • Project milestones, deliverables quality required and various project road maps

  • Provide support to manufacturing and installation team (Design change and concession)

Familiar with

  • General mechanical design rules (machined parts, sheet metal parts, various mechanical assemblies)

  • Aircraft primary and secondary structure, mainly metallic part, composite could be a nice to have.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma: Grado Medio/Grado Superior

  • Minimum of 3 years in aerospace engineering

  • Good performer on 2D and 3D CAD tools (preferrable Siemens NX), PLM system (preferrable Siemens Teamcenter) and Microsoft Office

  • Comfortable to work in a stressful and highly demanding environment and ability to multi-task. Ability to solve new problems in a fast-paced environment

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong teamwork skills

  • Language English (mandatory)
