JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Installation Technician position is primarily responsible for the effective and efficient preparation, staging, delivery, and installation of MEM equipment. In addition, the Installation Technician position will be expected to assist in the troubleshooting and repair of MEM equipment. Every member of the WP Team is a sales person for our brands and company. Therefore, the MEM Tech must be focused on providing WP Beverages with profitable growth through the sale and efficient distribution of our refreshing beverages, superior customer service and innovative customer focused marketing programs. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma. Minimum one year experience in: Field service, installation, and/or refurbishment of MEM equipment within a high volume distribution environment. High attention to detail with the ability to present written information in a clear, concise, and legible format. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language. Must be DIHLR certified for refrigeration or able to obtain certification within 90 days of employment. Basic knowledge of plumbing and carpentry. Must possess a good working knowledge of most types of power tools. Good mechanical ability and knowledge. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. from floor to waist. Must have the ability to operate powered industrial equipment including a fork-truck in a safe manner and maintain annual fork-truck certification. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
