Position Details: Provide strategic and operational leadership for a high volume, order fulfillment, multi-shift distribution center. Ensuring accurate product receipt, order fulfillment and the optimization of resources and processes while operating within budget. Achieve results by directing the development of processes to ensure most efficient, highest quality customer service while also ensuring compliance with state/federal employment law and OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations and company procedures. You will report to the Vice President of Distribution Operations and be located at our Cleveland, Ohio location. You will lead a team of 5 direct reports, and be responsible for a large multi-shift team member population. You Will: Have financial responsibility for a 400,000 sq. ft. distribution center with building and assets valued between $35M and $110M. Manage annual capital budget of up to $1M. Responsible for P&L management for payroll/non-payroll between $20-25M expenses, while also identifying and driving cost savings. Collaborate with Sales and Branch Services management to identify process changes to improve customer service, asset management and market strategies for the supported branches that service up to 100,000 customers. Communicate Company vision, values, strategies and direction, and our market plans to distribution employees. Create and promote an environment where employees are committed to the success of the company. Lead managers to make certain that their teams understand expectations for meeting their goals. Ensure standardization and sharing of best-demonstrated practices within Operations, Distribution Center and across the Distribution Center Network. Ensure that the appropriate SMART goals are set and achieved, (Safety, Quality, Productivity and Positive Employee Relations), through the proper execution of continuous improvement and performance drivers.
