Jones Lang LaSalle Material Coordinator in Louisville, Kentucky

Shift - Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 7 PMWhat this job involves - The Material Coordinator will ensure and maintain proper accountability for the material, issuance, receipt, package components and products as part of the secondary packaging process. Additionally, you will support activities related to reconciliation, cleaning and clearance activities, and other supporting tasks for secondary packaging and the warehouse and distribution area. All operations will be carried out in compliance with c'GMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).What is your day to day?
Follow processing and product-related tasks aligned with cGMP requirements and/or other applicable regulations.
Maintain individual training compliance with the requirements for the task (GMP, Secondary Packaging, Warehouse / Distribution, and Safety procedures) to ensure that batch record review is completed and in a compliant manner to support product release activities.
Support the identifying and escalating potential risks during process implementation and shipping and distribution activities to ensure the product supply to patients is not impacted.
Report and support any quality related event or deviation to the area lead, manager and quality units.
Support investigations per procedures, and support closure within the required time.
Participate (as required) in RCA during investigations related to product packaging processes, shipments and provide data as required.
Ensures that timely communication with management, planning, and quality is maintained during the potential process or shipment delays.
Ensures that timely and proper coordination is done for any routine activity that requires either facilities, operations, carrier, or quality support.
Assist in any risk mitigation effort, validation, or qualification activity (as required).
Collaborates with cross-functional teams in completing operations activities. Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives, programs, and projects.
Actively participate in Work Center Team efforts as well as for Safety programs for the site.
Works closely with area lead, manager and key collaborators and customers to complete/ improve day-to-day activities (Examples: Distribution Team, QA, Trade Operations, Planning).
Provides support during regulatory inspections as part of the prep room area and must be ready to present information to auditors (as required).Desired experience and technical skills -
Required
High school diploma/GED
Experience working within a warehouse and/or with material/inventory.
Aptitude to follow pre-determined SOPs and willingness to learn about industry-specific documentation practices.
Ability to establish rapport with team members through good communication and positive attitude.Preferred
Experience working in a warehouse environment (pharmaceuticals or biotechnology)
Basic knowledge of warehouse inventory management, SAP and Microsoft Office
Understand and carry out to Department of Transportation (DOT) and international shipping requirements (IATA)
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices or willing to learn
Knowledgeable of Cold Chain distribution requirement
Ability to operate a forklift or other powered industrial vehicle
Possess and exhibit excellent attention to detail and strong documentation abilities.Work Environment
Ability to comfortably lift 30lbs
