University of Louisville General Maintenance Technician I - Grounds Shop in Louisville, Kentucky
Minimum Requirements:Basic ability to read and write and six months of experience. Valid driver's license, insurable by the university's insurance carrier and able to operate manual transmission vehicles. Must pass pre-employment physical. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements.Position Description:Daily duties include light to heavy lifting, collecting and hauling trash, monitoring recycling, garbage receptacles, and dumpsters to maintain a clean appearance. Weeding, irrigating plant areas, trimming/pruning trees, shrubs and grass as needed.
