Adecco US, Inc. Electronic Technician II in Longwood, Florida

Adecco is assisting a manufacturer in recruiting for an Electronic Technician openings in Longwood, FL. This is for a contract-to-hire opportunity. As an ElectronicTechnician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing the in-house repair and final testing of product. The candidate must possess solid troubleshooting skills and/or abilities, knowledge of calibration and test procedures. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Responsibilities for these Electronic Technician jobs include, but are not limited to:

· Test and verify specifications of electronic sub-assemblies and finished products following written procedures within average time and volume constraints.

· Use schematics, assembly drawings, theory, and standard or specialized laboratory equipment.

· Document test results and other information as required per procedure.

· Document failure analysis for new units, as well as warranty and non-warranty repairs.

· Use computer to interface with various products through proprietary GUIs, flash microprocessors with software, and input test results in spreadsheet format. Use computer to find bills of material, assembly drawings, schematic drawings, custom specification sheets, and other information as needed.

· Document time spent on individual jobs on route sheets and timecards.

· Adhere to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues. Must have effective organization al skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to multi-task when needed.

· Will be expected to frequently use of oscilloscopes, function/signal generators, multi-meters, power supplies, frequency counters, noise meters, optical rails, small hand tools, probes, and other electronic test equipment. Soldering ability is not a requirement for this position.

Qualifications:

· A.S. Degree in electronics or trade school equivalent and three years' experience or

· Minimum of 5 years' experience without an A.S. Degree.

· Ability to comprehend and follow programming.

· Knowledge of calibration and test procedures.

· Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

· Ability to utilize concepts of electricity and fluids and computer networking.

· Ability to disassemble and repair complex assembles.

· Repairs are made using a variety of hand and power tools that include: Screwdrivers, wrenches, socket sets, hammers, punches, knives, saws, cable crimpers, strippers, soldering iron, grills, grinders, glues and adhesives

Pay for this position ranges from $25.00 - $30.00/hr. depending on experience.

· Hours: 9/80 schedule - This would be 4 x 9-hour days Mon - Thr (7:00 am - 4:30 pm), 8 hours on Fri (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) with alternating Fridays off
