2 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 05/15/2024 - 12/15/2024.

Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables, fruits, and garden flower annual and perennial crops. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Cultivate prepare land and greenhouse beds to grow products such as fruits, vegetables, hay, and grain. Workers will plant greenhouse crops, irrigate crops, prepare plants for sale, and move crops as necessary. Workers will prune and thin perennial fruit crops outdoors along with pruning and thinning live trees. Participate in irrigation activities; lay drip tape and plastic; pick up at the end of the season. Plant transplant seeds seedlings trees; weed, thin, prune, and inspect crops plants; spray fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides to fertilize and control insects, fungi, and weeds. Install bird netting and other crop protection. General clean up and maintenance of farm grounds, greenhouses, barns, storage facilities and access to fields as well as ground areas around all farm buildings. May construct trellises; repair farm buildings as needed. Operate, maintain, and repair farm machinery, equipment, and vehicles. Dig up or move field grown shrubs, plants, and trees. Stake trees, tie, wrap, and pack to fill orders; cut, rake, tether, and stack hay. Harvest crops. Load and unload wagons and trucks to transport and prepare crops for sale and delivery to markets. Post harvest treatment of crops and hay; inspect sort, clean, package, and load harvested products produce. Job tasks include operation of tractors, farm equipment, trucks, all terrain vehicles, and other machinery.
