Position Overview:
The performance analyst determines and develops detailed process and technical guidance to endure safety, quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met. Analyze existing process;
defining, implementing and optimizing process improvements for existing process, and introducing new standards and procedures as required to ensure best consistent quality of
product produced. Responsible to support plant initiatives of EHS, Quality, Total Productive Maintenance, Capital and Expense Planning ensuring proactive identification of equipment
upgrades, and replacements to support quality operations.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide leadership, direction, and organization of operations tasks, actively seeking continuous improvement opportunities through optimization of facilities, equipment, materials
and personnel.
Comply with all Federal, State and Corporate safety, health and environmental and quality regulations, policies and procedures.
Support cost effective and timely delivery of orders, optimization of First Pass Material Yield and Throughput, reduction of downtime and minimization of scrap.
Develop SOCs for product blends by line. Conduct quarterly performance monitoring with specific action plans to resolve gaps to standard. Utilize divisional benchmarking data
as available.
Develop plant process improvement programs, utilizing safety performance, line performance and quality performance to define opportunities.
Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to enable continuous improvement within the site.
Investigate new methods to improve plant performance including statistical tools, troubleshooting/problem solving techniques, etc.
Ensure effective training documentation developed for all line, support equipment and processes. Operations and troubleshooting procedures (ISO)
Develop technical and theoretical training on materials (resins; additives), machinery (extrusion and winder theory), and methods.
Establish process for new or modified equipment, ensuring safe operation and film quality requirements met.
Provide training to operations and maintenance on new or modified equipment and processes, ensuring all safety and quality requirements are addressed to ensure reliable and
repeatable process.
Support the capital process, defining project requests for equipment upgrades/modifications.
Actively support customer visits or quality investigations, determining root cause failure and implementing effective corrective actions.
Actively network with best practice improvement projects.
Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or a Science is required.
5 years equivalent manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong technical skills
Other Skills/Abilities:

Strong interpersonal, leadership and effective communication skills.
Solid understanding of the blown films manufacturing process.
Project management skills
Literate in Microsoft Office
Must be on call 24/7
Willing to work some nights, weekends, holidays
Some travel is required.
