JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

The Manager of Enterprise Identity System Support will be responsible to ensure that all identity, Privilege and Access Management operates efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with required regulations, policies, and processes. The Manager provides guidance, shares knowledge and skills with team members, and ensures that all processes and procedures are followed within Enterprise Identity System Support Team as they drive customer programs to an advanced state of information security maturity.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Determine staffing requirements: guides recruiting, hiring, training, development, and retention of highly qualified team members

  • Manage individual and team performance to consistently meet performance standards

  • Develop a deep understanding of operational risks and drive the response process to minimize the impact of these risks

  • Responsible for after hours and weekend activities for clients

  • Ensures services are delivered by closely adhering to SOP’s and Work Instructions

  • Establish and maintain metrics that provide assistance with managing to a high level or productivity, supportability and operational readiness

  • Identify problematic trends and take proactive steps to mitigate negative impacts to customer base

  • Provide guidance and feedback to subordinates, to include training, performance review and coaching

  • Ensures adherence to contracts, best practice, SOP’s and CIP Compliance guidelines

  • Assist with project related security strategies, as required

  • Risk management mitigation and analysis

  • Provide detailed, accurate and timely reports to management as required.

  • Collaborate with key partners to build innovative and creative security strategies

  • Provide information and tactical guidance to leadership during incidents

  • Oversee training and exercises to ensure IAM team proficiency

  • Conduct after action reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience

Minimum experience required of the position

7+ years of proven and successful leadership experience

  • Experience with Access Reviews process and procedures

  • Knowledgeable in 1 or more Identity and Access Mgmt products

  • Experience with enterprise directory solutions

  • Compliance and Audit experience (NERC CIP & SOX)

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

  • Proven success managing a team of people and portfolio of accounts

  • Capability to drive performance and achieve excellent results

  • Ability to work effectively with team members and with customers

  • Self-motivated, with ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Demonstrated organizational and scheduling skills, strong time management skills

  • Analytical ability, consultative, and strong judgment

  • Ability to approach problems from multiple angles and find creative solutions

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong understanding of Information Security concepts and trends

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service with excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support

Any certificates, licenses, etc., required for the position

Industry standard certifications are a plus (CISSP, PMP, CISM, MCSE etc.)
