Job Summary:

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of our client's faith-based senior housing community, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations while aligning leadership strategies with our client's overarching vision. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing operational efficiency, financial performance, regulatory compliance, strategic partnerships, and more.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance resident experience and quality of care.

  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize processes and workflows across all areas of the community.

Strategic Alignment:

  • Work closely with the CEO to align operational activities with the company's strategic goals and mission.

  • Develop and execute plans to support growth, sustainability, and innovation within the senior housing sector.

  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and adaptation.

Financial Management:

  • Manage budgetary planning, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

  • Ensure financial performance targets are met or exceeded while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

  • Implement cost-effective measures without compromising quality of care or services.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to healthcare, senior living, and faith-based organizations.

  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures that meet or exceed regulatory standards.

  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to address any issues or concerns promptly.

Board Reporting:

  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial and operational reports to the board of directors.

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support decision-making at the board level.

  • Act as a liaison between executive leadership and the board, facilitating communication and transparency.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other organizations, agencies, and stakeholders.

  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and alliances that benefit the community and its residents.

  • Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to promote community engagement and awareness.

    Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or 10 years’ experience in Senior Housing, including Section 8 and LIHTC.

· Innovative and creative leadership skills to drive sustainable growth and minimize losses.

· Project Management skills.

· Strong Financial management, budgeting, and financial planning is required.

· Effective Communication Skills.

· Business-minded individual but with a compassionate mentality
