Volt ENG Design Engineer I in Little Canada, Minnesota

Volt is immediately hiring a Packaging Analyst in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader. In this Role you will be responsible for data support (weights, dimensions, palletization), documentation and analytics for a consumer product line. This includes providing packaging data support to assigned product lines to ensure understanding of full scope of data implications. This is a first shift position. As a Packaging Analyst you will:

  • Follows a selected number of clearly defined procedures under general guidance.
  • Handles inquiries of moderate scope and complexity. Escalates issues when necessary.
  • Provides research and analysis from data in packaging systems in support of data and documentation.
  • Works in collaboration with Packaging Engineer and business team.
  • Uses data from multiple sources and analytical skills to interpret information, examine variables, draw conclusions, and assess possible solutions.

This is a full time contingent opportunity Estimated Duration 24+ months. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, formulas, etc)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong project management skills (organization, time management)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experienced with Excel (formulas), organized, time management, flexibility with priorities, good communication (written & verbal)
