COMPANY: M&M Service Company HIRING MANAGER: Dwayne Krager LOCATION: Litchfield, IL _ PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT_ Operates and maintains modern ag application and tender equipment. _ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS_ Operate tractors, loaders, sprayers, spreader trucks to apply fertilizers and pesticides to farm fields. Performs routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. Collaborates with peers with problem solving. _ OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS_ Responsible for maintaining company equipment according to company standards. Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures. Performs buildings and grounds maintenance as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. _ REQUIREMENTS_ Knowledge of equipment operation and capabilities. Ability to communicate, read maps, and follow detailed instructions. Must hold, or have the ability to obtain, all required pesticide or fertilizer licenses or certifications in states where crop production inputs are applied. Candidate will be provided with training to obtain these licenses. Ability to work extended hours and weekends in peak seasons. Occasionally exposed or required to: • Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) • Noisy conditions • Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards, requiring utilization of appropriate safety measures • May be required to work at varying heights • Lift 51 - 70 lbs.
