Actalent Antenna Test Engineer in LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Maryland

Description:

*Programming software in C/C++ or MATLAB to automate test fixtures

*Test software development in a Nearfield and Compact Antenna Range

*Create software programs being written in order to automate the test

*Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems

*Support technicians with troubleshooting and training

*Analyze test data and identify early trends

*Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions

*Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements

*BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.

*1+ years of professional or project based experience from school within software development with C/C++ or MATLAB.

*Hands-on experience with RF Design or RF testing with Antenna's through coursework or projects preferred.

*Hands-on experience testing in a lab with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers)

*The 2nd shift weekday roles require an active secret clearance to be considered (no interims) and ability to obtain a Special Access Clearance, which could take 3-6 months to obtain. Usually candidates with a TS will be granted the SAC. Secret is more like 50/50.

*The weekend swing shift role requires eligibility for a Secret Clearance
