Line Operator, Day & Night Shift

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts ?  

Pay Rate: $17 per hour ($18 per hour for Night Shift)  

?   Background:?  

  • Works under general direction of Production Supervisor? 
  • Perform duties directly related to production including operating processing line for daily production, production rates, and maintenance of equipment and building 

      

Tasks:?  

  • Performs operational duties as assigned by Production Supervisor?Operates machines by engaging controls; regulates machine flow, speed, and/or temperature; stops, clears, and resets machine when malfunctions or jams occur? 
  • Operates forklifts in handling of finished goods, steel by-product, trash, and other duties as assigned? 
  • Perform general equipment and building maintenance (corrective and preventative tasks) as assigned by Production Supervisor? 

      

Job Requirements:?  

  • High school diploma or GED? 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is not required but preferred? 
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.? 
  • Experience operating a forklift and skid steer is not required but preferred? 
  • Be organized and self-motivated? 
  • Adapt to rapidly changing priorities based on business needs? 
  • Work independently within a team environment? 
  • Follow established policies and procedures? 
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening?
