Job Description/Job Summary Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools systems, and conveyor systems of production machines.  Locate sources of problems by observing production machines in operation, listening for problems and using testing methods.

Required Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems, AC & DC motors, single phase, three phase and control circuits, pneumatic & hydraulic systems. Must understand mechanical blue prints & schematics, ladder logic Experienced in general pipe fitting/fabrication and acetylene & arc welding. Understanding of PLC's a plus

Responsibilities/Duties Must be able to troubleshoot simple mechanical problems and make repairs. Must be able to troubleshoot simple electrical problems and make repairs. Must be able to re-blade punches, re-cover punch pads and install / set up cutter blades and dies. Must be able to perform preventative maintenance and set machine up for production to run and have good seal and go right back into production and making a good product. Must be able to run conduit and hook up simple electrical circuits. Must be able to understand and troubleshoot servo motors, stepper motors, encoders, and drives. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Must be able to troubleshoot and set up equipment from OEM manuals and vendor specification sheets. Must be able to help improve the reoccurring problems and make the machine run with little down time. Keep isle ways free of clutter
