Mountainland Technical College Custodian in Lehi, Utah

Custodian

Location: Lehi, UT

Status: Part-time

Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)

Pay / Hourly: $15

SUMMARY

As a custodian you will be responsible for keeping the college building and grounds in clean and orderly condition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintains all areas of the building, this includes offices, classrooms, labs, conference rooms, dining room, serving areas, halls, stairs, elevators, entryways and lobbies. Assignment may vary depending on campus. Performs minor and routine maintenance activities in these locations.

  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, dusts and vacuums hallways, stairs, classrooms, restrooms and office spaces; cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.

  • Implements the safe and proper handling of blood and bodily fluid cleanup; implements the safe use and disposal of all chemicals and products, including those that are hazardous; maintains SDS records for all supplies

  • Responsible for securing doors and windows in all areas and buildings.

  • Alerts Custodial Lead to necessary routine repairs and major repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of six months related experience.
