Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Sr. Human Resources Generalist to join our growing Connectors Business Unit in Leeds, AL. This position will support the business with full cycle recruitment, benefits, employee/labor relations, investigations, training and development, benefits and compensation.

A Day In The Life

  • Recruitment: Conducting full-cycle recruitment activities such as sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.

  • Benefits: Administering employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.

  • Employee/Labor Relations: Handling employee relations matters and providing guidance to managers on employee-related issues. Responding to and resolving employee complaints and grievances.

  • Investigations: Conducting internal investigations related to employee misconduct, harassment, or discrimination. Coordinating with legal counsel as necessary.

  • Training and Development: Developing and delivering training programs for employees and managers. Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvement.

  • Compensation: Administering compensation programs, including salary and bonus reviews, job evaluations, and salary surveys. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Reporting: Generating HR reports and metrics to support business decisions and track progress towards HR goals.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or Management

  • Strong Human Resources Generalist experience

  • Manufacturing industry experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Proven time management skills; ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively

  • Outstanding judgment and common sense, with a demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing employee-centric solutions

  • You are results-oriented with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
